42 year old found dead in flat
Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Newcastle.
Brian Nicholas Townley (known as Nick) from Dyke Street, Hanley was discovered at the property in Hempstalls Court, Hempstalls Lane in the early hours of Wednesday.
A post mortem revealed the 42 year old died as a result of extensive blunt injuries to his head and body.
The 21 year old from Newcastle and 29 year old from Weston Coyney were remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates in Fenton this afternoon.
They will appear before Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Monday.
