Two men have been arrested after a van crashed into two police vehicles in Stoke-on-Trent.
A white Vauxhall Movano van failed to stop for officers in Little Chell Lane in Tunstall at around 5.10pm last night (11 July) - reversing into the police vehicle and making off.
A pursuit followed and the van was then in collision with a second police vehicle on James Brindley Way a few minutes later.
Two officers sustained minor injuries, and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The two men in the van also received hospital treatment for minor injuries and were subsequently arrested.
A 25-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent and possession of cannabis.
A 28-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
An investigation into the incident is now underway.
