Robbie asked to perform for royalty

Robbie Williams will make his solo comeback in front of a royal audience after being signed up to perform at the Diamond Jubilee concert.

The singer has been asked to perform at the event at Buckingham Palace by Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who has organised the concert.

Other names on the bill inlcude Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Jessie J, JLS and Ed Sheeran.
