Man robbed at knifepoint

A man has been robbed after being threatened with a knife in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police say he was targeted by two men while walking along the Cauldon Canal near Hanley Park around 5pm on Saturday afternoon (15 April).

They threatened him with a pocket knife or multi-tool weapon, and stole a mobile phone and keys. 

Officers say the victim was assaulted, but did not require treatment.

The attackers are described as a black male, about 5ft 7 tall with a beard wearing something with a camouflage pattern, and white youth aged around 16-year-old and wearing a cap.

It is believed they made off along the canal towards the Joiners Square / Fenton direction.
