Man injured in collision

Police appeal for witnesses

Police are seeking a woman who left the scene after her car collided with a man in Cheadle.

The 42 year old had got out of his vehicle on Tape Street near The Lamplighter pub at around 8.20pm on Monday night man to speak to the female driver of a Vauxhall Vectra about the way she was driving.

But the driver of the Vectra left the scene, colliding with the man.

The man suffered a minor chest injury, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

The woman driver is described as white, aged 30 to 40 and was wearing large dark sunglasses.

She left the scene heading towards Tean.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or knows the female driver, is asked to contact PC Nicola Burslem at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 760 of July 9.
