Image released by police hunting man who grabbed Stafford teen

Police hunting a man who grabbed a teenage girl in Stafford have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

The 15-year-old was walking along St Leonard's Avenue at 5:30pm on Thursday 19 January, when she was grabbed by a man standing on the footpath. 

She screamed, pushed the man, and ran away. 

The man then ran off along St Leonard's Avenue back towards Fairway. 

The girl was not injured, but left shaken by what happened. 

The man is described as white, 5ft 7in tall with a slim build and aged in his late 20’s. He had stubble. He was wearing a dark coat and dark-blue jeans. 

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We want to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in the area or who may know who he is and would urge anyone with information to contact us."
