A Stoke-on-Trent drug dealer is starting a three year jail sentence after admitting possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
Mazafar Hussain, aged 34, of Althrop Grove, Longton was seen leaving an address in Argyll Road, Normacot by police on 7 October 2016.
He was found to be in possession of 14 grams of high purity cocaine.
A further 66 grams of high purity cocaine was seized from the house in Argyll Road, where it was hidden under floorboards behind a toilet.
Scales bearing traces of cocaine and bags used for the weighing and distribution of the drugs were also seized from the same address, along with items bearing Hussain’s DNA linking him further to the premises.
He was arrested and released on bail after which he fled the country. He was arrested again on his return to the UK in February 2017.
Hussain was previously convicted in 2002 of conspiracy to kidnap, whereby two teenagers were held at gun point over the loss of a kilogram of heroin. He was also convicted in 2006 of conspiracy to supply 3.5 kilograms of heroin.
