Plans include selling off Civic Centre
Stoke On Trent City Council will become the main tenant at the new Central Business District planned for Hanley at a cost of around £40 million.
2,000 staff will move out of the Civic Centre and into new offices that will stand on the site of their former home Unity House.
The authority says the city centre is underperforming, and by moving workers it will boost business and create more jobs.
