Sydney fans in the frame for Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour film

Fans of international superstar singer Katy Perry, who is currently touring Australia, have the chance to feature in the official film of her hit Prismatic World Tour.

Two of the shows in the NSW Allphones Arena, Sydney, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December, are to be filmed as part of the official concert movie and there will be a special reserved seated section close to the action for lucky fans.

Katy Perry is in the middle of her two month tour of Australia, presented by Telstra Thanks, which supports her hit album Prism, which debuted at number one in Australia and has since been certified triple platinum. The album has given Katy her biggest ever single in Australia with Roar, which is currently certified nine-times platinum.

The fourth and final leg of the Prismatic World Tour sees Katy visit Europe in early 2015. It begins in Barcelona on 16 February and then takes in France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Latvia, Finland, Denmark and Norway and ends in Stockholm, Sweden, on Sunday 22 March.

Altogether, the Prismatic World Tour, which began in the UK, is planned to include 130 dates, with 38 in Europe, 67 in North and South America, and 25 in Oceania. Part of the profits are going to the charities UNICEF, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Autism Speaks.

Katy Perry has also been hitting the headlines in the United States after announcing that she is to perform at the American Football Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday 1 February at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Roar, which has spent 35 weeks in the Billboard chart and peaked at number one, is currently at number 35.

Katy is clearly enjoying the Prismatic World Tour. Towards the end of November, she tweeted on American Thanksgiving Day, "I am SO thankful to be on this incredible worldwide journey seeing people filled with joy night after night."

Now, with Christmas approaching, there is set to be strong demand for the singer's exclusive Katy Perry PRISM Collection, at top high street accessories retailer, Claire’s. Demand has been boosted by select 3 for 2 offers on limited edition products, seasonal novelties, collectables and products inspired by the tour and Katy’s greatest hits.

New collections have now arrived at Claire's and its collaboration with Katy Perry runs until 2016, so there are lots more to come.
