Donna Louise Fun Run

2017

The Donna Louise Hospice 5K and 10K Family Fun Run is back on Sunday 21st May at Trentham Gardens.

With a brand new course for 2017 and loads of attractions for the whole family to enjoy, even if you’re not running, you can still be supporting!

Chris Bovaird will be on hand to host the main event and welcome the runners back in with medals for the winners and official race times for all of the keen runners out there.

On the Day and Race Info

There is a lot going on at our event this year to keep spectators entertained while our runners are out on the course. From face painting to mini quad bikes in the activity zone, to delicious coffee and stone-baked pizzas in the food zone! There really is something for everyone to enjoy - you don't have to be running to enjoy our Family Fun Area as its free entry for spectators, so grab the kids, grab the dog and come along! We really can’t thank you enough for your interest in this event and for helping us to make every moment count for children with life limiting illnesses and their families across Staffordshire and Cheshire. Together, we can make a difference.

The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice

The Donna Louise offers specialist care and support services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families. The Donna Louise is a place for the whole family; it’s a happy, bright place, full of fun and laughter. We offer respite care so that parents can have a break, knowing that their child is well looked after in a safe environment. We also offer lots of support and fun activities for their siblings.

We also offer day care, end of life care, counselling and even care in the home.

We need to raise £3million to provide this service. By entering the 10K and 5K Family Fun Run, you’ll be making a huge difference to the people we support across Staffordshire and Cheshire.

The Stats…

During 2016 we supported and cared and cared for 221 families with 348 siblings. We need to raise £3 million every year to stay open and provide our vital services and support to our children and families. The majority of this money comes from voluntary donations from people like you taking part in our Annual 10k Run!
